Firefighters have put out a fire that engulfed the top of Auckland's Mt Wellington.
Fire and Emergency received multiple calls related to the blaze at around 10:30am on Tuesday.
A spokesperson told Newshub that at its peak, the fire was 50-square-metres in size and located at the top of the mountain.
Two appliances were sent to contain the blaze.
The spokesperson says they received reports of people running away from the fire.
