Police are advising motorists to avoid the area after a serious crash between a vehicle and a cyclist in Timaru.
The crash happened at around 2:30pm on Saturday on Washdyke Flat Rd, police say.
Washdyke Flat Rd is closed between Laughton Rd and Kelland Hill Rd.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
