A man has died after being found on fire in a church carpark in Dunedin on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene on King Edward St just before 11am while a service was taking place inside.
Members of the public helped to put the fire out, but the man died at the scene.
Police are now making enquiries into the death.
The incident took place outside Nations Church, NZME reports.
