Meth found in Aucklanders' car

Two Aucklanders have been arrested after police found a "substantial quantity" of methamphetamine in their car.

The men were travelling through Murchison in the South Island when they were pulled over for an earlier driving offence on Friday evening.

Police searched the vehicle and found 500g of meth.

The two men, 26 and 27, have been charged with possession and possession for supply.
