A blaze north of Palmerston North has destroyed an engineering building.
Fire crews were called to the site on State Highway 1 at Ohingaiti just before 3am on Thursday morning.
A spokesperson said the fire was well-involved when they arrived, and the building has since collapsed.
Crews and water tankers from Manawatu were called in to help fight the flames.
Nobody was injured.
