A woman was rushed to hospital after the horse she was riding fell and rolled on top of her.
The incident occurred at a farm west of Putaruru just after 2pm on Saturday.
The 57-year-old woman sustained suspected pelvis injuries and fractured wrist.
She was stabilised at the scene by paramedics before being flown to Waikato Hospital for further treatment.
