A man has been shot in Invercargill whilst duck shooting.
Police and ambulance were called to a rural property in west Southland early Saturday morning.
They found a 46-year-old man had suffered a shotgun would to his leg.

He was airlifted to Invercargill hospital via helicopter with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Others at the scene are being questioned.
Duck shooting season kicked off at the start of May and there have been a few incidents already, including a man that was shot in the chest.
