A woman says she found a bag containing methamphetamine on the floor of Whangarei Hospital's children's ward.
The woman was staying in the hospital with her sick baby when she found the bag of A class drugs on the floor, her partner Allan Trow told NZME.

A formal complaint to the hospital's management has been made by the woman, her partner says. Northland District Health Board (NDHB) has reportedly confirmed receipt of the complaint, but it hasn't been established if police have become involved.
''What kind of people take P into a children's ward in a hospital? If you're going to do that stuff, leave it at home," Mr Trow told NZME.
Mr Trow has complained of other issues at Whangarei Hospital such as large numbers of visitors disrupting patients' sleep. He says he recalled overhearing a drug deal happening outside the hospital's main entrance.
The hospital would not comment on the issue, NZME reports.
