One person has been killed and another seriously injured after a two-car crash in Waikato.
Emergency services were notified to the crash on State Highway 2 at Waitakaruru just after 11am.
Three others involved in the crash have moderate injuries.
A helicopter and the serious crash unit attended the scene.
Diversions are in place off SH2 at Mangatawhiri Road and at SH25.
