A raid of a Tribesmen Gang property in Christchurch has uncovered a cannabis-growing operation, methamphetamine and thousands of dollars-worth of cash.
Police raided the house on Valley Rd in Cashmere on Friday, arresting a 25-year-old man and a 49-year-old woman on-site, Stuff reports.
The property has strong links to the motorcycle gang.
"Once again this gang, and others like it, have shown their primary purpose is to profit through the illicit sale of drugs," Sgt Daniel Isherwood told Stuff. He added that users of the drugs the gang sells "often become involved in petty crime to fund their habits".
The pair will appear in the Christchurch District Court.
