A woman shot in Tauranga on Friday night remains in a serious condition on Saturday morning.
Police went to a property on Christopher St after 6pm on Friday after receiving reports of gunshots.
"Initial indications suggest that a woman at the property has suffered a gunshot wound," police said.
She was taken to Tauranga Hospital.
Police still don't know exactly what happened, and will be making enquiries on Saturday.
