Police have found a missing teenager in Nelson.
The boy was last seen in the Rai Valley area late on Wednesday, and on Thursday police said it was possible he tried to hitchhike to Nelson.
There were serious concerns for his safety as the region's temperatures had been predicted to hit a low of 4degC overnight.
Police announced the boy had been found late on Thursday night. They thanked local members of the community for their concerns.
