An experimental map from Statistics New Zealand details where in the world New Zealand's primary exports are sent.

Butter is the main New Zealand product sent to Russia, while China imports logs, Canada likes our wine and Argentina our paper.

Milk powder is the primary export to Congo and Madagascar, fruit to Spain and unprocessed fish to the Ukraine.

The primary exports are metals, dairy products, forestry, fruit, machinery and equipment, meat and edible offal, preparations of food, beverages and tobacco, and seafood.

In the year to June 2018, annual goods exports were valued at $55.5 billion.

China was New Zealand's top trading partner in 2017 with exports to China valued at $12 billion.
