The AM Show host Duncan Garner has revealed he recently had a terrifying encounter with an angry gang member after telling them to stop speeding.
Garner said he saw a car travelling up to 90km/h down a 50km/h road in his neighbourhood and he decided to tell the driver to slow down.

But he got a fright when the driver stopped and got out of the car, revealing himself to be a gang member.
"He stopped his car in a hurry and he came marching with purpose towards me," Garner said.
"My heart and my life went woosh, 'what am I going to do here, there's nowhere to run, nowhere to hide and I'm not that fast,'."
Garner said he opted to stand his ground instead against the gang member, but said it was a scary moment as the man confronted him.
He stayed calm and stood his ground though and eventually the man backed down and apologised.
"I tried to pretend I wasn't worried and he backed right down, introduced himself, was really good about it, apologised and said 'oh yeah I better learn my lesson'," Garner said.
"But my heart jumped out [of my chest] for a little bit."
