Police have announced two people have been arrested following an investigation into the murder of Mitchell Paterson at McLaren falls.
A 35-year old man was arrested on Friday evening in Paeroa and has been charged with murder and kidnapping. A 27-year-old man has been arrested and charged with being an accessory after the fact.

Both are due to appear in Hamilton District Court later in July.
An enquiry into the circumstances surrounding Mr Paterson's death continues, police say.
His family says Mr Paterson had a "heart of gold" and will be missed.
"We are extremely grateful and appreciate the police investigation team working quickly to identify and hold people to account for Mitchell's death.
"We ask that the public and media please respect our privacy at this difficult time so we can process our loss and grieve as a family for Mitchell."
