Waikato Police are investigating a death believed to be suspicious in Huntly.
The body of a 48-year-old man was found in his home on Saturday afternoon, police said in a statement.
A scene examination has been completed with forensic experts and a post mortem examination is said to have taken place in Auckland on Monday.

Friends and family of the man are "very upset" about the incident, police said, and are being supported by Police and Victim Support.
