Police are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist was killed on Friday night.
A 49-year-old man was hit by a truck on State Highway 2 in Maramarua, Waikato, at 7:20pm.
The cyclist died at the scene.

Police have spoken with the truck driver and are appealing for witnesses to the crash to come forward.
Anyone who was in the area and saw a pedestrian or cyclist on the side of the road on Friday evening around 7pm is urged to contact Hamilton police on (07) 858 6200.
The serious crash unit is investigating.
