A man has been arrested after fleeing in a stolen car north of Auckland overnight.
A police pursuit started on Royal Rd in Massey about midnight and went from Kumeu to Muriwai.
The 31-year-old fled on foot after being spiked, but was tracked by the Eagle helicopter and dog units.
The man will appear in the Waitakere District Court today.
