Car hits house in south Auckland

The driver of a car that ploughed into a south Auckland property this morning has been treated by ambulance.

Emergency services were called to Feasegate St in Manurewa just after 10am after the crash caused extensive damage.

Auckland Council inspected the house before the car, a grey Toyota Spacio, was removed.

The homeowners told NZME they believe the driver accidentally pressed the accelerator.

The condition of the driver is not yet known. It's not yet known if charges will be laid.

No one in the house was hurt.
