The Civil Aviation Authority will arrive at the scene of a fatal microlight plane crash in Southland on Sunday morning.
The pilot's body was found in the wreckage at Taringatura Forest, just after 4pm on Saturday.
Police say he was flying with a group of people, but became separated.
The man's body has been recovered from the site.
