A man has been arrested on Saturday after several assaults in Invercargill.
The 24-year-old man allegedly assaulted four people at two different properties on Saturday morning between 1:30am and 2:30am, police say. A 17-year-old man, 23-year-old man and 26-year-old woman received minor injuries at the first location, while a 30-year-old man sustained serious facial injuries at the second property.
The man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and assault. Police say further charges are likely.
He has been remanded in custody and will appear in the Invercargill District Court on October 2.
No one else is wanted in relation to either assault.
