Revealed: Harry and Meghan's New Zealand tour schedule

Details of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's New Zealand's tour have been released.

In their first major tour outside the United Kingdom, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend the Invictus Games in Sydney as well as pay a visit to Fiji and Tonga.

But they're also stopping in little old Aotearoa, enjoying a five-day visit on our shores.

They'll arrive in Wellington on October 28, and will visit Abel Tasman National Park the following day. The Duke and Duchess will then travel to Auckland on October 30 and pop down to Rotorua the next day.

Their Royal Highnesses will leave the country on November 1. More details about the couple's itinerary will be released closer to their arrival.

Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has welcomed the news, saying it's "wonderful" that the Duke and Duchess will visit New Zealand as part of their first major international tour.

"I know they will receive a very warm Kiwi welcome wherever they go," she said in a statement.

"I hope many New Zealanders will have the opportunity to see the Duke and Duchess as they visit some of our beautiful provinces and national parks, and experience our hospitality."
