A woman and toddler are believed to be dead after a tractor drove into a Northern Otago reservoir.
Police are investigating the scene on a rural property on Dunback-Morrisons Rd, Waihemo.
At around 5pm on Sunday, a woman driving a tractor and trailer lost control of the vehicle, slipping into the reservoir.
She's thought to have drowned, along with a three-year-old child.
The Police National Dive Squad has been called to the scene.
