Three people are on the run after setting fire to a house in Dunedin and crashing into a parked taxi as they tried to escape.
The carload torched the vacant house on Montpellier St in Mornington about 10:15pm on Friday.
While fleeing the scene, their car smashed into a parked car, the occupants getting away on foot.
Police say one person has been arrested, but officers are still looking for the others.
