A body has been discovered after an overnight crash in Southland.
Police were called to the scene of a crash on Tuatapere Orepuki Highway south of Jenkins Rd at 6am on Monday morning.
A man's body was discovered in the car, which had left the road and collided with a fence.
It's believed the crash may have happened after midnight.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
