One person has died following a three car crash in Auckland on Sunday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene on Great South Road, Wiri at around 4:10pm.
One person died at the scene and another was taken to Middlemore Hospital with moderate injuries.
Great South road will be closed while the Serious Crash Unit carries out an investigation, Police ask motorists to be patient if they face delays.
