Two young men have been charged with assault after six people were hospitalised on the West Coast overnight.
Police were called to Arnott Heights in Greymouth at about 3:30am on Sunday.
One of the victims is seriously injured.
The men, aged 18 and 19, were found a short time later at a house in the neighbourhood.
The pair will appear in the Christchurch District Court tomorrow.
