'100 percent pure NZ': Auckland Queen St McDonald's dance video goes viral

  • 12/11/2018

Welcome to Auckland's CBD, where scantily clad women twerk on the sidewalk while men throw chips at them.

This astonishing video was captured outside the Queen Street McDonald's by Reddit user rothmanbluez, who uploaded the footage to the popular social media site.

It's since been hailed as "100 percent pure NZ" - and a fantastic advertisement for our tourism industry.

"It was about 4:30am on a Sunday morning and the clubs had finished up so this was about as good as the after parties get at this point in time," rothmanbluez told Newshub.

"There's a guy always outside with a big speaker providing the tunes for everyone to get down to, and people just started feeling it and started dancing for a quick feed."

One woman decided to get low and show off her skills for the crowd, who showed their appreciation by "making it rain with chips".

The video shows the ground covered in chips, while a man squats down and scatters McDonald's fries in her direction.

"Her dancing style was that worthy of large fries hahaha," rothmanbluez told Newshub.

"I personally would've thrown a couple more fries."

Others were equally impressed at the celebration of Kiwi culture on display.

"This should be in tourism adverts with all our beautiful scenery," ViolatingBadgers wrote.

"Damn she really earning dem chippys," smoked420_nz added.
