Firefighters are responding to an explosion on the West Coast.
Crews were called to a house fire on Seddon St/State Highway 73 in Kumara shortly after 4:30am on Wednesday morning.
Thirty-two firefighters have been called to the blaze.
Fire and Emergency spokesperson Brent Dunn said there were more complications when crews arrived on the scene.
At one point the fire was approaching a petrol station, but it has now been contained.
