Someone is $12.5 million richer after buying the Powerball ticket in New Plymouth that won Saturday night's draw.
The winning ticket was purchased their ticket at Fitzroy Lotto & Mags in the North Island city.

The $12.5 million jackpot was made up $12 million from Powerball, and $500,000 with Lotto's First Division.
Another player also won $500,000 from First Division after buying their ticket in Whakatane's Paper Plus store.
Strike Four has rolled over to $500,000, which will be drawn on Wednesday.
The winning First Division numbers were 4, 9, 10, 20, 27, and 30. The Bonus ball was 8, while Powerball was 6. Strike numbers were 10, 4, 9, and 27.
