Three people have died in a two car crash in Hamilton overnight.
The two women and a man died when two vehicles collided on State Highway 1 - Mangaharakeke Road, between the Avalon Drive and Nawton Road roundabouts,
just after midnight.
Two others sustained serious injuries and were taken to Waikato Hospital.
The road has been cleared and the Serious Crash Unit is investigating.
