Five people are injured and two are in a serious condition after a crash in Southland.
St John was called to the accident at Otautau, 40km outside of Invercargill, at 9am on Wednesday morning.

They say two people were trapped and one person is being flown to Dunedin hospital.
It comes as road safety advocates urge travellers to drive safely as the road toll increases and New Year's Eve approaches.
Since January 1, 372 people have died on the roads so far, and one person has died during the current Christmas road toll period which will end on January 3 next year.
