A fifth person is due to appear in court on Monday following the death of a 25-year-old man in Christchurch.
Shayne Heappey died earlier this month after being dropped off at Christchurch Hospital with serious injuries.
A 45-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
Four others have previously been charged in relation to Mr Heappey's death. Matthew Winara Webber, 29, has been charged with murder. Another man, who has interim name suppression, has also been charged with murder.
A 50-year-old man has been charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and police have also charged a 26-year-old woman with being party to wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm and accessory after the fact of murder.
