Two people have been injured in a crash near Lake Taupo.
One person is seriously injured and trapped in a car after the head on collision, another is moderately injured.
Emergency services were called to intersection of State Highway 41 and Pukawa Rd at 12:10 this afternoon.
A rescue helicopter has been called to the scene.
