A crash briefly blocked all three southbound lanes on the Auckland Harbour Bridge on Tuesday afternoon.
The crash happened at about 12:20pm, and was cleared by 1:10pm.
The Transport Agency says delays should still be expected.
"Tow services are required & congestion is building," NZTA said on Twitter. "Please delay your journey south until all three lanes can be reopened."
Traffic is reportedly backed up a long way onto the North Shore.
"Allow extra time as congestion southbound from Northcote Rd slowly eases," NZTA tweeted.
