A man has been rushed to hospital after a stabbing in central Auckland.
Police said they were called to an "altercation" between two groups of people at around 4pm on Thursday, when one man was allegedly struck with what's believed to have been a glass bottle.
He received minor injuries and was taken to Auckland hospital. A St John spokesperson initially said he was in a serious condition.
The stabbing occurred on Federal Street, near the Sky Tower.
Police are still on the scene and enquiries are continuing.
