A car crash in Paremata, near Porirua has left one person dead and another critically injured.
The single vehicle crash occurred at the bottom on a steep driveway in Walker Grove on Monday.
Police and emergency services were called to the private property at 12:51pm.
Police report the driver suffered a medical event.
The road will be blocked for some time so an investigation into the crash can take place.
