Two people have been arrested in regards to a baby who was seriously injured last year.
The five-week-old was flown from Invercargill to Auckland's Starship Hospital in a serious condition on October 5.
Police said at the time they believed the infant's injuries were non-accidental.
On Thursday a 32-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman were arrested in relation to the incident. Both have been charged with ill treatment and neglect of a child.
They are scheduled to appear in Invercargill District Court on Thursday afternoon.
