Police are investigating after an incident in Manukau on Saturday allegedly ended with a woman having a miscarriage.

While police could not provide details about the incident, a pregnant woman was reported to have been kicked and punched. Police responded to the "disorder incident" and transported the woman to Middlemore Hospital at midday on Saturday.

The injuries the woman sustained in the attack allegedly led to her having a miscarriage, with the father of the baby reportedly posting on Facebook, saying he would have revenge for the baby's death, reports 1News.

"To them three foolz that killed my baby ... I am cumn for u," he allegedly wrote.

"Watch ur baccs I'm cumn an I'm a kill uz wen I catch uz in jail."

A Facebook post apparently said three youths attacked the woman and a man at the Manukau train station, before boarding a bus for Hastings, reports 1News.
