A woman was found dead following a suspected horse-riding incident in Otaua, south of Waiuku in northwestern Waikato, on Tuesday night.
Police were called to Wilson Rd about 3:50pm to follow up a missing persons report.
They located the woman's body about 8:10pm.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
