A person has died following a crash in Ranfurly, Central Otago overnight. A second person received minor injuries.
The crash happened shortly after 12:30am on Kyeburn Diggings Road.
Police are investigating the circumstances of the single-vehicle crash, and the Serious Crash Unit has assisted with a scene examination.
