Police have discovered a body at a rural location north of Dunedin.
At around 8pm on Sunday, a body was discovered at the location. A scene examination and formal identification process is now underway.
A residential property on Lock St in St Clair, Dunedin is also being examined in relation to a missing person reported to police on February 5.
Police cannot yet confirm if the two incidents are linked.
Any members of the public that may have seen any suspicious behaviour on Lock St between February 4 and February 5 are urged to contact Dunedin Police on (03) 471 4800.
