A runaway trailer has left three people with injuries on Auckland's North Shore.
At roughly 3pm on Saturday afternoon, a trailer came loose from a vehicle on Beach Rd near Waiake Bay in Auckland.
Police say it then crashed into a parked car with three people inside, seriously injuring one and leaving the other two with moderate injuries.
The road has been closed at the corner of Beach Rd and Waiake St, as well as the intersection of Beach Rd and Ellangowan St.
Police are asking motorists to avoid the area.
