A man has been released from Auckland Hospital, after being treated for injuries he received in a fight where another man was stabbed in the chest.
He is now being interviewed by police.
The other man remains in hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police were called to reports of two men fighting at an address on Eban Ave at 1:50am on Tuesday.
The men are known to each other, enquires are on-going. Police are currently completing a scene examination.
