A 42-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with murder after the death of a baby in Motueka in early February.
She will appear in court on Thursday.
The baby was found dead at a property in Motueka property on the evening of February 10.
Police say it was a tragic event for the family involved as well as the wider Motueka community.
Victim Support is working with the family.
