Police have charged a 20-year-old man with murder over the death of Mangere man Arthur Brown.
Brown was shot on Vine St on March 10. His funeral was held on Wednesday.
The man was arrested and charged with the murder after police executed several search warrants with the assistance of the Armed Offenders Squad.
A number of firearms were also recovered during the execution of the search warrants.
Two people are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
"Today's arrest is pleasing and a great relief to achieve this result," said Detective Inspector Tofilau Faa Vaaelua.
"This has come about through some tireless work by the police team working on the case and assisted by information provided from the public, including anonymous reports via Crimestoppers."
The 20-year-old will appear in the Manukau District Court on Wednesday.
