A person has died at a popular swimming spot in Northland.
Emergency services were called to Rainbow Falls in Kerikeri just after 2pm on Saturday.
It is believed the victim got into difficulty while swimming, and after being pulled from the water were unable to be revived.
The death has been referred to the coroner.
