Motorists should expect delays after a crash involving multiple vehicles on Auckland's south-western motorway.
On Thursday morning, NZTA tweeted that a "multi-vehicle" crash happened at roughly 6:40am on State Highway 20 and blocked some traffic heading north.
"A multi-vehicle crash is blocking the right lane northbound just prior to the Portage Rd overbridge," the tweet said.
"Expect delays through this area."
While the road was temporarily one lane during peak commuter time, the NZTA tweeted at 7am that both lanes were now open.
"But northland traffic is congested from State Highway 1 in Manukau to Portage Rd. Delay your journey or allow extra time."
