A fire at a construction site in the Auckland CBD has been extinguished.
Images of the fire on social media show it sending a huge plume of smoke across the CBD.
Fire crews were called to the scene on Graham St around 8am on Wednesday and it was extinguished by 8:45am.
A spokesperson says the fire broke out inside a lift shaft.
