A firearms incident in New Plymouth on Saturday morning has left a man in hospital with a gunshot wound.
Police are seeking information about the incident which is believed to have occurred on Plympton St in New Plymouth on Saturday morning.
The 20-year-old man went to Taranaki Base Hospital after the incident with a gunshot wound, according to a statement from police.
A property on the street is currently cordoned off as police examine the scene.
The man's silver Ford Mondeo hatchback, with a registration of CGP879, was also taken.
